Take your tools and accessories with you and keep them together in one place with the Jumbo Field Box from the Vintage Model Company. This sturdy 6mm ply wood box is a reliable way of transporting tools, batteries, fuel or whatever else you need to the flying field.

Supplied as a flat-packed kit you can assemble in mere minutes, rather than hours, with precision laser cut plywood parts.

You can paint or stain the box and give it your own look. This kit really lends itself to customisation.

In the top of the box there are two compartments for easy to reach tools and accessories you might need to get at in between flights.

At the top of the box are some removable padded arms that make up the model cradle. This cradle is perfect for resting medium sized RC planes like those in the Balsa Basics range. If you need to fit a larger aircraft with a wider fuselage, the arms are adjustable thanks to the easy to turn wing nuts.

All of the hardware, such as the nuts and bolts, are included in the kit along with the cradle padding.

There is space for fuel on one side of the box. If gas powered models are not your thing, you can carry your batteries here or find another purpose for this space! It's really up to you.

On this side of the box, there is space for a power panel for starting nitro engines.

The solid 20mm hardwood handle provides a strong feel to the box. Once you've started using a field box, you'll realise why they've always been so popular! It's a mobile workshop that you can carry anywhere.
