SOUTHERNER 60
A lovely makeover of the classic duration model from the 50s adapted for electric power and 3 Channel R/C.

The kit is very complete, and includes full hardware pack.
Only needs RC gear, motor, spinner and prop to complete, plus of course covering.
It is not as hard to build as it looks at all.
Flying in light winds is utterly trivial. It flies itself and lands itself. You need to do a bit more if the wind is gusty though.

Slightly revised from Bill Dean's original, but only in minor details, and still has those beautiful lines. A joy for those who like a good "build", and so relaxing to fly. Impeccable flying manners, perhaps even more 'floaty' than the original ic powered version. Love it so much I built 2......

I have just received the full kit. It was dispatched within three working days and arrived well packed. Good quality wood excellent laser cutting and clear full scale plans, rolled (not folded) a nice touch. Well done VMC [originally posted on our old website 03/06/2016]
