The Mercury Magna is a free-flight cabin monoplane that's simple to build and has very stable flying characteristics making it ideal for a first foray into vintage power flying. With basic aero-modelling skills, you should find nothing too difficult in the build.
The Magna was originally designed for 0.5 to 0.75cc diesels, but the PAW 049 is a perfect partner for it too. There is no reason why this model cannot be converted to simple, single channel RC to keep it within the flying field and satisfy the increasingly stringent air safety laws.
