KK PACER
The KK Pacer is a really nice, true vintage, team racer, with fully built up construction, featuring semi-scale appearance, for 2.5 - 3.5cc (.15 - .20 cu.in) diesel or glow-plug motors. Not a beginners' model by any means, but makes a superb vintage project for the experienced builder, who likes something a bit different. All parts are precision laser-cut, to make for accurate construction.
A real piece of classic vintage modelling.
YOUR KIT
This kit is a laser-cut replica of the original KK Pacer. Construction of the model from this kit uses the traditional method of "stick and tissue", that consists of a built up balsa wood skeleton (framework), covered with a tissue skin. The balsa frameworks are built over a plan that is printed at the exact scale of the model, which is in essence a real engineering drawing. This type of traditional building technique and flying requires a degree of patience and skill, but is extremely rewarding.
