Conquest
Having built a good number of these lovely little models from the original Keil Kraft kits, it was a great experience to have another one on the building board. The plan comes with a comment that the kit is based on the original hand drawn plan and the original sized parts (which were die-cut). This does result in a little trimming of some of the parts to get a perfect fit as you would expect, but generally the model went together very quickly & easily. The balsa selection is excellent, with nice straight hard wing spar, but slightly softer leading edge to assist the final sanding. Any one who has built a couple of models from the old style kits will find no problems building this. The quality of the laser cutting is superb. Many thanks for a great kit and a nice trip down memory lane!

Looks like this model missed quality control laser cuts were of wrong size matching up with wrong size balsa spars as described in the plan . Took a lot of alterations to complete the model with no diagram /basic instructions or photo of the Glider .

I have built several vintage kits although still a beginner . The conquest kit was probably not one of the best I have built there were several discrepancies in size of balsa and plan discription and took a fair amount sanding and alterations . The kit could do with a description or plan of sequences or at least a photograph. The lazer cutouts took a lot of alterations to get anywhere like a good fit . Advice for any newbies you will need plenty of sandpaper and small files .
