13" VERON F7U-3 VOUGHT CUTLASS
This plane is a scale model of the F7U-3 Vought Cutlass, a United States Navy jet fighter. It combined the functions of jet fighter and fighter bomber in the early Cold War period. Designed as Vought's response to a U.S. Navy competition, the Cutlass was built to be able to fly at 600 mph at 40,000 feet. However, it suffered from numerous technical and handling problems and its service career only lasted 11 years.
